The Origin E-ink Notebook

The unit works very well. It has a ghosting image while writing, and does not always wake after sleeping. You have to hard shutdown and restart to get it working again.

This is actually my favorite eink device. I had an actual purpose for which I bought it and it fits that purpose quite well.
I don't understand why some of the features from the mobiescribe seem to have disappeared from the notes app.
It would be nice to rearrange pages in notebooks and that seems to be a feature that has disappeared. But four out of five isn't bad.
The fifth star comes back when I can move my pages.

I'd be into this device if not for the curved back side. I guess they are trying to make it look thinner on the edges, but I cannot rest my hand on the side of the tablet while writing without it tipping because of the curved back. It would make much more sense for it to sit flat on the desk so I can write on it easily. I would certainly be happier with thicker sides and a flat back than a tablet that won't sit still while I attempt to write on it.

I love how it rights and the features that you get for the price. However, I have had a lot of issues with it freezing up. It had only frozen up with books and now its freezing up even in the note taking section, and I've only had it for a few months now. Even when I try to restart it by switching off the power button the freezing prevents it from turning off or on so I cannot restart it. I bought it to take notes for school so having it freeze up like this is not super helpful for that.

I like the way the device reacts and creates writing. Storing, Saving and retrieving notes is clunky.
